Unfaithful: Review

Friday 05.10.2002

Well, not holding my breath anymore for Unfaithful, after reading the review at CNN, I think I'll wait for it on video or cable. "How can an actor who attempts to convey every conceivable emotion by quickly blinking his eyes maintain a career for 25 years?" And Gere once said that he didn't want to do Pretty Woman or An Officer and a Gentleman which are two of his best movies. So I think he's like George on Seinfeld, he needs to do the opposite of whatever he's inclined to do, take the roles in movies that he normally wouldn't and he'll be very good and very successful. Richard Gere, don't follow your instincts!
