Shrek 2: Review

Saturday 05.22.2004

This movie is a rarity in the fact that it surpasses the orginal. I loved the orginal Shrek but it was flawed in many ways. The jokes were a bit stale and the plot was streach to the maxim. This time all the flaws in the first were eliminated. A great story line and the jokes were all dead on. From the sight gags of Justin Timberlake Sir Justin Poster on Fiona's wall to the innumerable hollywood jokes in the Kingdom of Far Far Away. Just top to bottem an outstanding movie that both kids and adults will love. This movie was done right from the beginning to end. As of right now this is the best by far of the summer movies to date and will be hard pressed to be knocked down. They even managed to take a song from Footloose and improve it though its pretty sad when Bonnie Tyler is outsung by Jennifer Saunders.

Rating: Big Giant Huge Green. Flawless from the animation to the story to the jokes. This is a must see movie.
