After all the hype about this movie when it was in the theaters, I figured it would be really good. Boy was I disappointed. A poorly made ripoff of a much better movie, Short Cuts by Robert Altman, combined with a sledgehammer approach to racism and the old don't judge a book by its cover cliche. Dumb, depressing and stupid, left me with nothing but a regret for the lost two hours. If you want to see a good movie, rent Short Cuts instead.
